This is the game for kids who are dogged by persistent worry. As players try to capture the Worry Monsters, they learn important skills—how to identify feelings, calm down, use positive self-talk, change negative thoughts, make a plan, and practice self-monitoring. Most important, children discover that worrying won’t solve their problems. A reproducible anxiety checklist is included so counselors and therapists can follow each child’s progress in reducing worry. For 2 to 4 players.
