This game teaches children the difference between acceptable and unacceptable behavior. Encouraging players to take responsibility for personal actions and exercise self-control, it provides a relaxed atmosphere in which the therapist, teacher, or parent can more easily discuss problem behavior.
Behavior Skills teaches children how to respect the rights and feelings of others, how to determine when an apology is needed, how to deal with people who hit, yell, and threaten, and how to follow the rules at home, school, and work. And it offers alternatives to stealing, lying, and rude behavior. It is helpful not only to children with behavior problems but also to those who must interact with aggressive peers.
