Impulsive children have difficulty learning from past mistakes, anticipating consequences, and inhibiting dominant responses. This set of four card games uses remote control symbols to teach three essential skills:
• STOP and redirect behavior.
• REWIND and learn from past mistakes.
• FAST FORWARD and think about consequences.
Players read brief case studies based on the impulsive behavior of real kids. They then STOP and propose an alternative course of action; REWIND and describe a similar impulse that they learned from; or FAST FORWARD and consider potential consequences. All players practice all three skills during the course of the game. Separate game cards for Grades 1 to 5 and 6 to 9 allow you to adjust the difficulty level of the game. At both levels, students learn to stop and think before acting, remember previous mistakes, anticipate consequences, and handle frustrations. For 2 to 6 players.

Awful ..not easy for kids to follow and not helpful. We started making up our own rules to get something constructive out of the material. DO NOT BUY IT. A friend also ordered it and we both wish we hadn't.
